Refinished oak floors throughout, exposed natural wood beams, the many original structural elements and hardware were carefully kept in place while restoring the house (including many sets of rare and very cool Honeywell Tap-Lite switches!).

The Basement:

The basement has a great play area with the original 50's bar and funky wallpaper!  As you can see, there's room for a full size pool table, and the original retro light fixtures have been maintained.

The crawlspace provides massive storage, but was unsealed when we moved in. For energy efficiency (and to reduce the creepiness factor), the crawlspace was professionally concrete sealed.
